| Frequently Asked Questions 1. Can I use a jogging stroller during the race? jogging strollers will not be allowed. 2. Where should I park? Saturday night Parking can be found along the village streets and in front of the Norwalk Community Center. Sunday parking can be found along the village streets, and at the Village park. 3. Can Walkers start Early? Yes please make prior arrangements with Race Director to coordinate a 8 am start to walk. However,finisher medals will only be awarded if you can finish within the 6 hour time limit. Early starters are not eligible for age group awards 4. Is the course certified? The course is certified the number is wi-08024-dm 5. Do I really need to bring a flashlight? Only if you plan to transport your own flashlight, we will not be shuttling flashlights for runners, this causes a logistics problem as runners seem to be finished before flashlights return to finish line. But there will be flashlights available at the start of the runnel and a place to drop off at the end. 6. My training won't allow me to finish a Marathon, can I downgrade to the 1/2 Marathon? Absolutely, please contact the Race Director to make arrangements as soon as possible racestaff@railstotrailsrace.com 7. Where do I leave my "stuff" while I am running? We will have an equipment check in near the start line the day of the race. You will be provided with a tag/bag to check things in. Any items that are not picked up that day will be held onto for 2 weeks, after that they will be donated to Goodwill. 8. How do I claim my pre & post race meals? Tickets will be in your race packet when you pick it up. 9. Can I bring my wife/kids/neighbor/dog into the post-race recovery area? This area is reserved for registered runners only.
